BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2021 odds in full including Tyson Fury and Raheem Sterling

This year’s Sports Personality of the Year award will be handed out tonight in the annual BBC ceremony that looks back on the sporting events of the past 12 months.

It’s been a big year with the delayed Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics as well as the European Championships, while there were stand-out performances elsewhere.

Manchester’s own Tyson Fury secured a thrilling victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas in October, retaining his WBC world heavyweight title in a bout widely recognised as one of the best ever.

Elsewhere, tennis sensation Emma Raducanu came through the qualifying stages in the US Open to go all the way to lifting the trophy at the age of just 18.

That has made the teenager the favourite to take home the award, with both Fury and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling ranked as outriders.

Diver Tom Daley, who took home two medals from the Tokyo Olympics, is ranked second with Fury in third, while swimmer Adam Peaty is fourth-favourite.

Sterling is seen as a heavy outsider as is Eccles-born Paralympian Sarah Storey.
