Brentford star hints at attacking gameplan for Manchester United fixture

Mads Roerslev has revealed that Brentford will ‘attack’ Tuesday’s game against Manchester United.

United are now unbeaten in the six matches since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked and they beat Norwich 1-0 on Saturday evening.

Ralf Rangnick has won consecutive Premier League games in charge of United and the Reds have recorded two clean sheets in the top flight since the German took over at Old Trafford — which is just as many as they managed under Solskjaer in three months.

United are 11 points behind the Premier League leaders Manchester City and securing top four now seems to be their target.

Brentford were only promoted this season, but they sit ninth in the table and they’re just seven points behind United.

Thomas Frank’s side have won praise for the style in which they play and they’ll be tricky opposition for United to overcome.

Roerslev plays at wing-back for the London club and he warned that his teammates won’t be ‘starstruck’ by United’s personnel.

“I think we all know it’s [Manchester United] one of the biggest clubs in England,” Roerslev told reporters.

“That said, we will go into the game as any other game, we will go in there to get all three points and we’re not going to just stay there and be starstruck.

“Of course, it’s incredible to play against big players and big clubs but we will attack the game as we always do.”
