COLORADO SPRINGS— A driver lodged beneath a trash truck was rescued by the Rocky Ford Fireplace Division (RFFD) and transported to a hospital.
RFFD was referred to as to a 3 automobile crash on the intersection of HW 50 and HWY 71. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a sedan caught beneath a trash truck. The motive force was trapped contained in the automobile and in important situation.
The person was rapidly extricated from the automobile and transported by a Flight for Life helicopter to a hospital.
All lanes of visitors had been blocked to assist first responder rescue operations and clear a touchdown zone for Flight for Life.
The third driver of a special automobile was transported to a hospital with minor accidents.
The Colorado Springs Police division is investigating the automotive crash. All models have been cleared as of 1:05 p.m.
