Signal number 1 still up in 10 areas as ‘Agaton’ remains stationery – Daily Tribune

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Providers Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday stated that sign number one is still in impact in at the very least 10 areas as Tropical Despair (*10*) continues to meander over the Samar-Leyte space.

PAGASA added that as of 4 a.m., ‘Agaton’ was  estimated over the coastal waters of Tacloban Metropolis, Leyte.

It has most sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (km/h) close to the middle, gustiness of up to 70 km/h as it’s virtually stationary.

Signal number 1 was raised in southern portion of Masbate (Dimasalang, Cawayan, Palanas, Placer, Cataingan, Esperanza, Pio V. Corpuz), Jap Samar, Samar, Northern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, northeastern portion of Cebu (Daanbantayan, Medellin, Metropolis of Bogo, Tabogon, Borbon, Sogod), Camotes Island and Dinagat Islands.
